Psalms 139.16 says….You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Here God, our Maker, our Creator, tells us that before we were born ,he put a chip in us that is unique to us, clearly defining our life’s purpose. Our assignment on earth is to find out what that purpose is and pursue it . Only living out our life’s purpose can bring us true lasting peace and joy.
On this quest in finding your purpose, accept all you are, love your imperfections. Seeing yourself with flaws takes the pressure off to perform ,and allows you to look at things from a different perspective. Love and nurture your unique traits, appreciate what you have and make peace with all you lost. Do not allow your setbacks to detour you, instead use them to gain momentum and cover more ground. In finding your life’s purpose these simple questions will help. point you in the right direction. What are you most passionate about? If you did not have a job, how would you fill up your days? What topics you find yourself talking most about? If time was not an issue what would consume your time? What issues you hold close to your heart amidst your busy schedule to follow through?
In the words of Pablo Picasso, The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
